I've used Calibre for a long time. I used it back when I had a Sony Reader PRS-500. Calibre back then was called LibPRS500. I used it to convert from eReader, Mobi, HTML, LIT to LRF. It meant I was able to buy eBooks that I could remove the DRM and convert to read on the 500.
