Looking at Eric Meyer's reset css included in the code brought back sad memories of his daughter Rebecca and the rebeccapurple colour.
The eBook is from 2017. Hopefully, we won't ever see such a mess from any books published now. This is a TOR eBook. Calibre could have done a much better conversion a4nd the cleanup would have been a lot easier. Another option back then could have been Word > HTML > Sigil

As for the Eric Myers book, what is the title? I'd like to see if it's available at the library with Overdrive.
