Anyway, I have nothing against Calibre, in fact I read that so many people use it for book management that I fear I am missing out on something so I am curious why/how people use it.
If one is buying/getting books not only from Amazon Calibre provides a unified view of all books.

Calibre provides quick searching, and the option to add metadata (tags, series order) which Amazon's view lacks.
