I got one.
Before, the Android 4.4.2 Tolino Epos2 was my main reader - upside down landscape, two columns, buttons down (which I didn't use).
Now it is the Poke2 because it is handier and lighter, the screen with its setting options better.
The only thing I really miss is the back button.

In the past I have owned a Kobo Forma, which is hardware-wise the same as the Tolino Epos 2. I didn't like it. I couldn't get used to the shape and the positioning of the buttons. Like you I prefer a handier and lighter reader. A device with a 6 inch screen seems best for me.
Does the Poke 2 work well with Calibre? I'm assuming it does.
