Yes. The patch file are often updated within hours of the release of the new firmware version.

Using the overrides section there is easier than editing each of the individual .yaml files in the src directory. I've attached a blank sample for 4.20.14622 (everything is set to no) which I've simply copy and paste into the new patch set's kobopatch.yaml. I do check for new or removed patches to keep up to date but this carries over most of the patches I use without having to edit multiple files.
