Having followed your exact instructions, I was able to apply the patch. I really needed someone to take me by the hand and guide me through as you did, step by step, because with the instructions next to the patches I felt totally lost. I only dare to use Terminal when I have step by step instructions to copy and paste things, otherwise I am clueless about Terminal. I am a translator by profession and Terminal scripts are not my domain
So once again, I am deeply grateful for your help. I can finally read those library books in a way that is friendly for my eyes
