I tried to convert the book again just now which produced the attached log when it failed. It ran for about 3hrs. Towards the end of this period, it wasn't doing any disk access, hardly using any CPU (occasionally showing 0.2-0.3%) and about 35Mb of memory (as indicated by Task Manager). There is no indication of an error condition at the end of the log.
