I tested it, and it works, BUT for French it is otherwise unbearable (all accented characters become a ? on a black diamond), so I would need to exit everything, modify the administrative language, turn off the computer, turn on, use Calibre, and repeat for every other use.
So I'll wait for the corrected plugin.
I also posted an enhancement request in Calibre for the possibility to return to a previous version of a plugin.
