@Davidfor - Mother’s Day here too. I genuinely don’t want a new reader which IS unusual for me. LOL Wifi is good here so that’s not the issue. I did a factory reset and so far, touch wood, it’s ok but we’ll see in a few months. Any books I bought from the Kobo site downloaded super quick like they’re supposed to. All bookmarks etc intact.
I had to reload all side loaded books and of course lost all bookmarks and everything was marked as unread. I’m glad I also have the Clara & the Aura One that I can cross reference for marking books read and getting bookmarks. I also had to reauthorize it with ADE.
It’s such a pain when it doesn’t work like it’s designed to and I hope I don’t have to do this again in another 3 or 4 months.
We did have a good Mother’s Day here. We got all meals cooked and new books and music so I’m very happy. I’m even more pleased that I can actually read them on my preferred device too.
