To be fair, Onyx is not Amazon, with much smaller support and dev resources. And they develop so much more...
I had to wait about a year or so for Onyx to fix a touch-screen bug which I figured was software. They did fix it, but it took a while.
I suppose they have their priorities and a long todo list. The Poke bug was limited to one device. Also I think Onyx make most of their money from regular early adopters who buy the latest model. They do support their devices with bug fixes, but its a balance. Also, once the device is no longer the latest Android version, they stop updating the FW. So if you want something fixed, contact them regularly while it's still 'new'.
