So what can I do about KUAL?

Well, hello. I haven't touched my Kindle JB in about four years. However, stupidly, I updated from around version 5.6.0 to 5.12.1 a while ago. On a sleepless night I decided to mess around with my Kindle. I found out that KUAL will not start: "Application Error". So I did some research and ran an emergency.sh script which worked, ended up with three files and restored ;log. So I immediately installed the JB hotfix through ;log mrpi and my kindle restarted.

So now back to KUAL. I have placed the .azw file in /documents and I have tried installing the coplate hotfix through ;log mrpi, which did not work. When I place the hotfix in the root of my kindle to try through UYK, I just get an error saying I've placed an invalid update files etc.

What should/can I try?
