Did you follow the suggestion to
increase the size of your top margin until it is okay? If 20 did not work for you, try going to 50. If that keeps your descenders from being cut off, reduce the top margin until you see cutoff and then increase by, perhaps, 5. If 50 doesn't keep them from being cut off, you have a different issue.
