But since I am going through the same issue on the Ipad app, I guess it's actually related to some kindle problem.
But Amazon really doesn't care.
One thing is for sure: next reader I buy won't be a kindle.

Well, if it's also happening with the iPad app, obviously it's not a problem with your device, it's a problem with your account. What country is your account registered in? (I don't know if that makes a difference, but it's the only thing I can think of)
