If you are selling it here, than sadly none, it all comes to the trust of buyer that you will ship what you promised.
Ebay has protection, so buyer could request refund if he does not receive goods, or if device is not working. But there are are always people that will try to trick somone, on ebay you need to check seller/buyers previous transaction, is he active and how many trade deals has he made...
On forums like this it is more relaxed, it is community based so it should fdel safer, you can check how long is persong selling stuff registerd, hos many post did he made, you can read some of the post to make general impression of the seller, if he is active and helpfull part of forum, buyer will not expect him to screw him over.
But again, basicaly trust, you are buying something for less money than brand new, so risk is always there.
