I think there might be some confusion on what SxS really is. iOS won't let 2 versions of the same software run at the same time. To get around this, the Marvin creator made a duplicate of Marvin, and called it SxS so that you can have two books open (one in each app) at the same time such as a reference book or dictionary. SxS does not do anything different than Marvin.

Marvin (SxS) will only display ePub format (and .cbx/.cbr for graphic novels/comic books) so make sure you are putting the book into proper ePub format. I know Marvin can display "multi-column" and split-view/slide-over, but I haven't seen it support displaying 2 separate pages at the same time...??

I'm thinking you are trying to display a Fixed Format ePub - not reflowable?? Marvin will display both types just fine, but it is very difficult to get a Fixed Format coded properly for any reader to display. Without seeing the code used to create your ePub, we aren't going to be much help. I would recommend asking for help in the ePub forum where they can help with FF. (Warning - it's much more difficult than reflowable, so it'll be harder to find someone who is knowledgeable and willing to dive into your book...but you can certainly try!)
