Should have known.
I made the HUGE mistake of taking my splint off to attend a party on Sunday night. My hand started hurting about 2 hours into the party, and by Monday morning it was swollen.
Here's something that I'm finding a little weird ... when they did the last xrays of my left hand, they had me take the ring that I normally wear on my left pinky finger off. That was about three weeks ago, and the very clear indentation from the ring is very evident ... as if I just took the ring off.
I have almost certainly slipped into the Twilight Zone.
