Hi all,

Recently my Kobo Aura n236 stopped to be recognized by my computer. Once I insert the cable it would prompt me to the box if I want to connect to the computer. But after that it would only charge, nowhere was my device mounted.. Through this forum I learned it matters to try different cables. Unfortunately after trying several cables multiple times also the charging is no longer working now! Not on computer nor wall charger. Kobo helpdesk says their only solution is to get a new device. I called to multiple shops and most said they can’t do it as they don’t have parts or they can do it for 80 euro. There was one shop who could help me replace the micro usb port if I am able to find the part.
I have been looking on ebay etc but can’t find it. The closest thing i could find is a replacement micro usb port for the Glo HD.
Does anyone know if they use the same ports? Or where I could find one?
