This is an old thread, but I needed to do this and it was very helpful. Also, I was able to find a Youtube video that illustrates how to do it (and just how easy it is!). The video shows the Glowlight model, but this procedure worked, exactly as demonstrated, on my non-Glowlight Nook Simple Touch Reader.
