Yes, exactly. I should have explained in my initial post. I didn't mean to be so mysterious.

Assuming you are using Windows 10:
  1. Plug in your Kobo
  2. Open Windows Explorer
  3. Go to View and make sure Hidden Items is checked
  4. Open the .kobo folder
  5. Right click on the file affiliate.conf
  6. Open with WordPad or Notepad
  7. It should show:
    Code:
    [General]
    affiliate=Walmart
  8. Change it to:
    Code:
    [General]
    affiliate=Kobo
  9. Save

Walmart should be gone.
