I don't believe that anyone with a 10 inch screen can distinguish a 1600 pixel wide image from a 3200 pixel one,, and most , myself included, can't pick out 1600 from 1200. Or distinguish a decent JPG from a lossless image
I agree that most wont see the different between JPG and PNG. But I disagree with the won't hear between lossy and lossless. I'll hear the difference much more then i'll see the difference.
