They don't. I got lucky and found one used on eBay. But you can buy a Shine 3 from Germany (Grooves.Land) and get it shipped to the U.S. (4-12 days) for free.

Don't see much point in it, however, if you already have a Clara HD and like the Kobo firmware (which is mostly more "feature-rich" then the Tolino Shine 3). I like the Tolinos because they'll work for Overdrive (no issues with being stymied if Kobo and Overdrive revisions don't match) and allows me to buy Adobe DRM ePub books from various bookstores directly (no Adobe ADE on my Linux computer).
