Well, there's a recent post about how it forces "text-align: justify;" regardless of what you put in the CSS or its settings.
There's another one asking how to remove the built in fonts; it comes with a slew of them, all nearly the same, so trying to find an alternative font is a pain in the neck from all of the scrolling.
The UI is just klunky, even though it's android. Something about adding books to it and its library was klunky but I can't remember what. I gave up on them and installed koreader, which does make it usable. But having to install a 3rd party reading app is malarkey. Their software just screams "Designed and made in China."
One of my biggest complaints is not about Onyx's software but the whole idea of android on a 16 grays e-ink device. Android doesn't know about grayscale and all of the android apps assume the display is at least 256 colors. So you get confusing color combinations that work in color but in 16 grays map to two similar grays making it very hard to see what's what. But we're talking about a color display here so that shouldn't be a problem with this one.
