I have the 11" pro as well as my mini 5. Pixels don't make a difference to me, but size and weight make all the difference. I got the 11" to read pdfs on, but it is so large and heavy I almost never use it - I can get by with the mini by using landscape - also landscape really helps with epub on my mini as I'm a fast reader. I only want an android version because I prefer the reading apps on it vs the mini.

Only you can make that determination. I really don’t notice much, if any, difference between my mini 5 and Pro 9.7 (which has 264 ppi).
My main reason for liking the mini 5 as a reading device is the size and weight. I’ve got severe arthritis in my hands, and elsewhere, so lighter weight is critical for me. Personally, I also prefer the smaller screen as well because it just seems more natural as a reading size than my Pro 9.7. Both of those reasons are personal opinions and YMMV of course.
