It's known that EMMC(EMCP) is actually a kind of SD card(MMC precisely), and it has a SPI mode allows us read/write it with only 5 wires connected, which is

VCC(+3.3v)
VSS(GND)
DO(DAT0 in MMC/SD mode)
DI(CMD in MMC/SD mode)
CLK

And I found where the wires on kindle touch 3 (KT3,kindle 8th)goes with a PCB which I removed its EMCP(EMMC)

But when I got another kindle touch 3,I disconnected its battery and eink display,then connect its 5 wires that I just mentioned with a card reader,nothing happends.
However, this card reader can access the EMCP I removed from the first kindle with same 5 wires connected.

In brief,this way should work no matter EMMC is on-board or not(I don't know if my English is accurate but wish you get what I mean ^_^),but now it only works off-board
So can anyone tell me where I was wrong?Or is there anyone wants to try it with your KT3 and carIf anyone wants to have a try ,be sure you're aware what you're doing ,and pardon me for taking no responsibility

In the end,I'd like to say if this way works,which might means we can do whatevery we want on KT3 with no worry about bricked device such as downgrade,jailbreak...
