Even though you are right about the rubberized stuff getting sticky, I don't find my Libra to have that kind of coating. It feels like solid plastic to me. The Forma has this satiny rubber touch that I have experienced to get tacky after a while.

My Libra, like yours, doesn't make a loud sound when I press the buttons.

And the light is fine for me, too. On the other hand I am not too picky about the light. As long as it's really bright I am happy. The small shadow does not bother me at all.
