To my eye their prose styles are almost completely opposite. Robbins seems to put down words just because they'll sound good together - wonderfully florid in a slightly over the top fashion. Hemingway you'll have to try for yourself but I find the prose dry and almost abrupt - no wasted words.
If you like Tom Robbins you might also find you like John Crowley.
