I've yet to see a video or review (or in person) a Forma or Libra that didn't look basically just like those pics (with the backlight on).

It's not really a color variation in the way I think you may be talking about, but more a different design approach that Kobo seemed to use.

They have a greener "tinge" with the backlight on.

Perhaps it doesn't bother some (or most?) people, but it's seems fairly evident that it is true at least.
