Whispernet is handy, but since I don't get periodicals I want delivered without needing to plug in the K every morning, I'm just fine downloading from the computer. I use the dictionary a lot, but not so much wikipedia, and can go to feedbooks and the library here manually if there's something I want there. I'm not generally an impulse book buyer, and most of the time I'd need a book on the fly, I'd likely be out of WN range anyway (traveling).
While I'd rather feel comfortable with WN at all times, when there's a new, unknown update file, I'll keep WN off until its properties are established so as to not imperil the books which I obtain through use of Kindlefix.
