That is a Library structure, not a device structure. Somehow you have the Folder device pointed at the working Library (really bad)
Or at one time you pointed the save to folder to a backup Library ( neat way to recover a botched file : right click: Add to Library

OK do the 'O' thing in Library view: where is that Library
It may be Onedrive is restoring the setting (some settings are in the DB, because they only apply to that Library. Preferences belongs to the USER)
