As to Metadata: Many years ago, a CNET-TV anchor used the term 'Auto-Incorrect'. IMHO that really applies to downloaded metadata

The Quality Check Plugin is your first tool, to help discover and hammer things into data order. Find (and FIX) all Authors in your DB with the wrong name order (comma or no comma), and so many other data variants that show up from time to time.
The Search the Internet Plugin is another tool to help look up other data, to allow you to fill in the blanks (or correct).


Nothing is FAST.

I spent over a year massaging my metadata after I scanned the books with barcodes into the Add From ISBN part of the ADD button. (I still needed to do all the Pre-ISBN era by hand. Scan Covers for those that did not find a match (to my copy)
