I was unable to establish a caliber-companion connection to the cloud (OneDrive, Dropbox) on the Onyx-Boox Nova 2 (Android 9).
I have no problems with other Android 9 devices, not even with the Poke Pro (Android 6).
Another user has identical problems on his Max 3
