OK, you're going to hate me. I tried something else. UPDATE: Fixed but I'm not sure why.

I have another computer - an old laptop - laying around. I installed Calibre on the laptop, fired up the content server, and both of my iDevices saw it immediately.

Older Lenovo Thinkpad, but running Windoze 10 latest, 10.0.0.16:8080, near as I can figure all network and firewall settings are the same. So I concluded not a problem with Marvin.

From each PC, if I use Chrome to browse the Calibre library, I can see the library on the other PC.

So, on my main PC, I uninstalled Calibre. Then I used CCleaner to look for orphaned registry values. I deleted both the Calibre program and Calibre-related firewall entries. Re-installed Calibre. When starting the content server, I got the allow firewall access message. I allowed for both private and public networks. Used Marvin on the iDevices to look, and I saw the content servers for both PCs. Solved for now, but like I said, I'm not sure why.

So, related question, if this happens again: is there a way to completely uninstall Calibre? I'm guessing I didn't get everything in my uninstall, as Calibre found my old library - I would have expected it to ask where or create a new one, as it's in a non-default location.

Thanks again!
