I had to edit my previous post because I was remotely logged in on the other computer when I looked, and I got some wrong info.
The edited version is correct. Mint has QTLIB_DIR="/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu"
I will poke around some more to see if I can figure out what the setup is doing to confuse cmake. I am pretty certain that the system is using Qt5 at this point.
