I bought a first generation kindle on eBay out of nostalgia and a few weeks later the 3G stopped working. It worked fine on my DX but the explanation at the time was Sprint pulled the plug on the old 3G system and as the DX was connecting elsewhere that still worked. No biggie, but today it’s working again. Not sure if it has something to do with trying to make as much connectivity available during the pandemic or if it was a screwup initially. Anyone have info?
