I'm working on an ebook in Word/DOCX, then converting to epub format with Calibre, and it's working really really well, with the exception of the images. Even though I have disabled Word's "Image Size and Quality" processing, it is still messing with the images, visibly degrading them. When I replace the images with the originals in the Calibre editor, they become visibly better.
I have quite a few images in my book, and I would prefer to not have to replace each one individually.
Is it possible to batch-replace the images, or perhaps put the original images in a folder in Calibre somewhere so that it pick them up and replace the inferior Word images automatically?
