It looked like plastic in the Amazon photos, so that is a plus that it is metal—more durable for sure.
I would think the battery life should be fairly good since it doesn’t have a display. I guess it has WiFi and/or BT though, but WiFi shouldn’t be too big of a battery drain. And it isn’t always listening if you have to push a button to use voice commands, so that will conserve battery too.
I still think it would have been way more cool as a Star Trek communicator badge to wear on a shirt!
Even better if they used Scotty’s voice instead of Alexa’s voice!
Does it even have a speaker? I’m guessing probably not...
