Kobos don't
require any tweaking or 3rd-party software either, and can be used out of the box with the same ease as a Kindle. The Kindle library IS bigger, but in the 18 months since I've switched (after 6+yrs on Kindle), I've had fewer than 10 books I couldn't source from Kobo but could on Kindle.
