My favorite "social distancing" activity is sitting on the back deck, in the sun, with a mug of tea and something to read. We live on an approach path to Newark International Airport. We also see a lot of business jet traffic to Morristown Airport, and we have several small municipal airports in the area. It used to be rare to look up, day or night, and not see at least one jetliner overhead. It was also common to see contrails in the sky and hear small planes nearby.

I haven't seen an airplane of any sort in more than a week.

There's also almost no noise from the nearby Interstate highways.

Even with most of the neighborhood home, it's very quiet out there.
Kind of crazy.

There is still some traffic here in Atlanta, but then again, we don't have it nearly as bad as the NYC area. I get out for my daily walks when the weather allows and there is usually a line at the drive through Chick-fil-a (except Sunday, of course).
