What to put in the Author field of magazine-like ebooks wriiten by many contributors

A question about management of ebooks in your library:

I have ePUBs from magazines and newspapers and they contain articles by many different authors. What is the best to put in the Authors metadata field of those publications?

I see different options:
  1. Blank or - if software doesn't allow this - the word "Unknown" (This is the technical catch-all approach.)
  2. The content of the Publisher field (This works well for newspapers.)
  3. The word "Multiple" (Seems to make sense for magazines.)

What do people do? Are there other options? Does exist a standard way to do this? What works well for you?
