The info does not appear, if we disable "Launch Calibre" and start calibre from the menue.
We have downloaded the installation packages with all virus protection disabled.

Where did you get the installer packages? Main Calibre site? Version 4.12 ?
Your A/V or ISP may have
fixed the package
What is weird, is that it fails at the end (the Launch tick is showing). This may be a DLL rights issue. I wish they said WHICH DLL failed
