Hey guys,

My Kindle is on firmware 5.12.1 and I did the jailbreak according to this guide:

Now I have 2 problems. The Kindle only starts when I have connected the serial cable to the laptop. Otherwise it gets stuck in the boot screen.

My second problem is that I can't get KUAL installed. I dragged KUAL-KDK-2.0.azw2 into the document directory but it is not displayed.
I tried to install Update_KUALBooklet_hotfix_v2.7.23_install without success (update error).

I think the jaibreak worked because the jailbreak message came on the bottom.
I would be really grateful for help!
