While I must say, I'm generally pretty happy with the way all the Echo devices work throughout my house, I am frequently bewildered at how I can some times near-whisper to the Echo in the bedroom with me, and the response will come from out the door, down the hall from the Dot behind the living room sofa. Some bizarre trick of acoustics? Tech issue? No idea.
