I agree, they should change the wording. The way the website is currently set up, the checkout screens determine shipping country before the screen where the coupon can be entered. If you live in the Americas, the place to enter the coupon code is not offered before the final confirmation which would take you to PayPal. I just tested this with my account which would send to Canada.
