It's happen with all firwmares... Have you got a idea of the problem? is there a setting to change the delay to try a another value or verify mine?
Is it happening in any particular location? Or book format? There is a long standing bug in epubs with the last word in a paragraph that goes over the page if there is only one punctuation mark at the end. A long press on that will always turn the page or open the menu depending on what you tap zones are. There are some other affects related to this as well.

Other than that, make sure you clean under the edge of the bezel. If there is anything stuck there, it can block the IR beams and the touch doesn't work properly.
