Jeremy Robinson is a bit like James Rollins, writing in his action/adventure novels. But he adds more mythological stuff ... things like re-animation of Hydra (the Greek multi-headed snake-like monster). He does it pretty well, I guess you'd call the genre action/adventure/monsters. James Rollings is more established/polished, but Jeremy Robinson is up and coming. Somewhat like Matthew Reilly, another action/adventure writer.
I first found out about Jeremy Robinson when I did a Google search for "authors like James Rollins" (my favorite author).
