Back to the phone I go.
After a 59 minute phone call and escalating my complaint to a supervisor, I was finally issued a code for my $20 Amazon credit.

The CS rep kept saying I didn't qualify, but didn't know why I was disqualified. He asked if I was connected to the internet the whole time I listened to each book, if I used the app, which OS I used, did I listen to the very last second of each book to the very end, which books did I listen to, when did I listen to them, were they over 3 hours, when did I purchase the books, and on an on. I finally said enough. Let me talk to a supervisor. He repeated most of the points the CS rep went through and couldn't find out why I was being disqualified. In the end, he sent me the code and said he was doing it because I had a good history with Audible and that he didn't doubt that I listened to the books.

The key thing is that I was persistent and didn't take no for an answer. When the CS rep kept trying to nitpick everything in minute detail, I countered back that the terms never said that.

So, was it worth this aggravation to get the credit? You be the judge.
