Nope: that is good
Calibre does not do 'patch' type updates, only full installs.
In most cases, you just run the installer and it overwrites the program, leaving all the settings and Library intact. (That said, a fairly recent backup is still a good plan)
On rare occasions, settings have been glitched. But never a Library.
Have problems: Read the FAQ AND ASK HERE. Doing the wrong
recovery, can really make a mess out of a simple tweak.
