IIRC the Bounce problem referenced was a bug in Qt, and their bug fixing abilities are hmmm… infamously tardy.

Perhaps Kovid can devise a workaround - again. Workarounds can be problematic - e.g. when the Qt developers finally get around to fixing the bug, or the workaround itself needs to be worked around due to side effects.
