My heart goes out to you. I wouldn't think you have failed her. Cats get sick, cats get old, and there isn’t much we can do about it. They can’t talk to us to tell us when they are sick or what hurts. Sometimes it is difficult to understand they are sick until it is too late. It sounds like you did everything you could to help her.
