Sometimes Amazon is the only alternative to Smashwords. Because the Big 5 publishers have lost the plot, at least currently, when you can download to PC and can use the registered Kindle's serial number in Calibre.

Then you cannot buy any eBooks that have DRM ass there are no native Linux apps to deal with eBooks with DRM.
